Messenger and Instagram: your page and account messages, in the same inbox

Your Facebook page and Instagram account receive messages that are easy to forget. Connected to Syncon, DMs become conversations in Chat, with assignment, notes and history.

Messenger

1. Go to Chat → Setup, Messenger & Instagram section, and press Connect with Facebook.
2. Sign in with an account that manages the page and accept the requested permissions (only managing the page's messages).
3. Pick the Facebook page and the domain the messages land on, then Connect.
4. Send the page a test message: it appears in Chat within seconds.

Instagram

1. The account must be professional (Business or Creator).
2. Press Connect Instagram, sign in with the Instagram account and accept the permissions.
3. Pick the domain and confirm. DMs appear in Chat with the Instagram icon.

Good to know

• You can connect several pages and accounts, each to the right domain.
• Disconnecting a channel keeps the existing conversations in Syncon.
• Social channels are included in plans with chat enabled; see the details in Billing.
